Panel on the Medicare-Medicaid Plan Transitions and the Future of Integrated Care for Dually Eligible Individuals 
Panelists shared challenges in transitioning from MMPs to D-SNPs, such as the lack of subject matter expertise in D-SNPs, as well as the opportunities that have come from this transition, including the incorporation of MMP best practices into D-SNP regulation. Key areas of interest for Commissioners included the authority of the Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office, the human capital infrastructure in place across states, and the intersection between Medicare and Medicaid.
