Insulin Coverage and Affordability
Supported a large pharmaceutical company with legislative strategy and drafting after analyzing insulin coverage and affordability concerns across payers – including above-brand and brand-specific issues. Assessed current law implications, identified policy gaps and opportunities for reform. Provided policy recommendations and drafted legislative text to improve insulin coverage and patient affordability, including targeted updates to previously introduced legislation, as well as the creation of new legislation. Provided additional recommendations related to regulatory reforms, as well as stakeholder engagement and alliance building.
