As president, Lori is responsible for upholding operational excellence across the Solution areas and the company. Critical for success is her collaboration with the Executive team working together to maximize the impact on ADVI’s vision and mission while continuing to drive exceptional value to our clients and the patients they serve.

Life Pre-ADVI Health:

Lori’s career has been focused on operations excellence in various industries, spending the last 20+ years in life sciences, with the last 13 years focused in professional services operating in equity backed space. Before joining ADVI, Lori was the chief operating officer at RQM+, providing technical expertise to RQM+ clients while focusing internally on employee leadership and development and the strategic growth of the Consulting Services infrastructure.

Life Beyond ADVI Health:

Lori lives in Latrobe, PA with her husband and their cocker spaniel. Recently an empty nester, she loves spending time with her two kids when they return home during college breaks. Lori is an avid traveler enjoying the diversity of culture and beauty of our world. She also loves to curl up with a good book and a cup of chai tea.

Ms. Lori Smith-Sakalousky serves as President of ADVI Health, the strategic consulting partner to the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem solving complicated problems in healthcare with data-informed commercialization, market access, and policy expertise. Before ADVI, Lori served twelve years as chief operating officer at RQM+, providing technical expertise to RQM+ clients while focusing internally on employee leadership and development and the strategic growth of the Consulting Services infrastructure. Under her leadership, Lori’s team has been consistently given, on average, 9+ on a scale of 10 for client satisfaction with a 90% repeat customer rate. As Chief Operating Officer, her entrepreneurial spirit has guided her to create the RQM+ operational model focused on people, processes, and tools. She has focused on operational excellence while ensuring the global scalability of the Consulting Services infrastructure. She is responsible for developing and monitoring the consulting services team’s strategic goals, current objectives, and overall operating budget. Her team consisted of technically skilled consultants providing industry-leading regulatory and quality consulting and engineering services and program management expertise. Before RQM+, Lori held various leadership positions within multiple industries over the past 30 years, spending the last 20+ focused on life sciences and most recently professional services operating in the private equity-backed space.

Lori earned a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Psychology from Clarion University. She also earned an MBA from Chatham University, an Executive Leadership Program certificate from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. Over the years, she has led her teams to multiple awards, including Industry Week’s Best Plants and AME Manufacturing Excellence awards. At RQM+, “Best Place to Work” three consecutive years, along with Pittsburgh’s Fastest Growing Service Company and the Inc. 5000 Award.
