Life at ADVI Health:

Jason leads ADVI’s reimbursement team and guides coding, reimbursement, payment policy strategy and execution efforts for clients spanning pharmaceutical, biotechnology, device, diagnostic and digital health industries.

Life Pre-ADVI Health:

Before joining ADVI, Jason spent 10 years with Guidehouse’s Life Sciences Market Access team (acquired through acquisitions of Navigant/Quorum Consulting) where he served as the team’s resident expert on all aspects of coding and reimbursement policy.

Life Beyond ADVI Health:

Born and raised in San Francisco, Jason enjoys regular game nights with friends. Playing a variety of board games requiring multi-path strategic planning with randomness and evolving rules to deepen game complexities while keeping them fresh with each game played.

Jason is a healthcare coding, reimbursement, and payment policy expert with 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Having conducted extensive research into the history of Medicare’s payment systems (e.g., IPPS, OPPS/ASC, MPFS, CLFS), Jason provides clients with forward-thinking strategies supported by historical precedent to inform feasibility of success.

In his previous work, Jason developed pre- and post-launch reimbursement landscapes, pathway analyses, and strategic recommendations to build a prosperous reimbursement environment for client products. He has successfully acquired unique coding (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10), enabled novel payment by utilizing payment system levers (e.g., New Technology Add-on Payment, Transitional Pass-through, New Technology APC), and lead CMS advocacy efforts for improved reimbursement on behalf of medical device, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic clients.

Jason gained his passion for healthcare reimbursement solutions through early experiences in hub services, where he supported patients and providers to navigate through complex coding, coverage, and reimbursement challenges typical of newly approved technologies with innovative reimbursement strategies.
