Life at ADVI Health:

Dr. Chang conducts analyses of real world evidence studies to support clients’ research objectives using health insurance claims, electronic health records, and survey data.

Life Pre-ADVI Health:

Before joining ADVI, Dr. Chang worked as chief statistician at PHAR for 18 years, leading many secondary data analyses and providing methodological and statistical support on a variety of other project types. In her earlier career in the insurance industry, she led a team to evaluate quality initiatives and health economics and outcomes.

Life Beyond ADVI Health:

Mother of a daughter. Enjoys reading and traveling. Loves cute babies.

Full Bio

Dr. Eunice Chang is a mathematician and statistician with 30 years’ experience in statistical analysis focusing on health economics and outcomes research. She leads many secondary data analyses and provides methodological and statistical support on a variety of other project types. She has conducted and evaluated quality initiatives and disease-state management programs and developed a systematic sampling program for HEDIS 1999 measures.

Dr. Chang has experience in a range of data types, including longitudinal surveys; commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid claims; electronic health records; and many others. She specializes in controlling selection bias, match case-control studies with propensity score, and collaborating with internal and external researchers in study design and statistical modeling. Dr. Chang has published more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Chang received her PhD in statistics from Iowa State University.
