Before joining ADVI, Justin served in various roles focused on public health policy and communications, where he conducted research and developed initiatives aimed at improving mental health outcomes and community engagement in underserved populations.
Life Beyond ADVI Health:
Loves spending quality time with friends and reading a good book. Runs marathons, but has a love-hate relationship with them. Can be found playing sports, talking about sports, and yelling at his TV when his favorite sports teams let him down
Full Bio
Justin Weiss is a researcher on the outcomes research team. He works on a range of projects, including chart review studies and expert panels. In this role, Justin contributes to every stage of the project’s lifespan, from proposal to publication. Justin came to ADVI Health by way of Children’s Aid, where he helped run the organization’s AmeriCorps VISTA program. Before Children’s Aid, Justin worked at the Jerome Avenue Revitalization Collaborative and interned at the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre on Mental Health, Disability, and Human Rights.
Justin earned a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management and a certificate in Population Mental Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a certificate in Journalism from the University at Buffalo.
