Life at ADVI Health:

Zack assists clients in better understanding how the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act, state-level Prescription Drug Affordability Boards, and other Medicare Part D policies and applicable regulatory developments will impact their businesses and products.

Life Pre-ADVI Health:

Before joining ADVI, Zack worked at Leavitt Partners on various issues, including the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act, ACA Marketplace eligibility, Medicaid coverage of Whole Genome Sequencing, improving coverage for dually-eligible beneficiaries, and Medicare provider payment frameworks. He collaborated with companies across the life sciences sector, Medicaid managed care plan sponsors, patient advocates, and provider organizations to help them meet their policy goals. Prior to Leavitt Partners, Zack assisted the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Connected Care with the implementation of their telehealth strategy through provider and patient engagement.

Life Beyond ADVI Health:

Based in Washington, DC, Zack enjoys exploring the city’s ever-growing food scene and playing indoor or beach volleyball in his free time.

Full Bio

Zack brings his experience in federal and state health policy analysis to ADVI. In his previous roles, Zack analyzed Medicare payment rules and other administrative actions, monitored and helped companies navigate the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act, and collaborated with stakeholders to improve Medicaid enrollment and eligibility systems as well as ACA Marketplace transitions during the Medicaid redetermination period. He further collaborated with rare disease advocates and organizations to educate Congressional staff and members on various priority issues within the rare disease community. Additionally, Zack has experience helping VA stakeholders implement their telehealth strategy through extensive provider and patient engagement. Before that, Zack served as an intern for Ward Circle Strategies and the Glover Park Group, where he helped stakeholders communicate their needs to Congress and state-level government during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Zack holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from George Washington University.
