Suhanee Patel

Suhanee is a member of ADVI’s Policy, Research, and Analysis team, where she helps clients navigate the evolving federal and state policy landscape and understand how it impacts their products. Her work spans a range of key health policy areas, including Medicare Parts B and D, the Inflation Reduction Act, state-level Prescription Drug Affordability Boards, and regulatory activity from HHS, CMS, and the FDA.

Prior to joining ADVI, Suhanee was part of KFF’s Program on Medicare Policy, where she focused on Medicare Advantage and health benefits for state retirees. She also ran Glitter for the Golden, a nonprofit dedicated to senior citizen enrichment, where she organized social engagement initiatives for residents of assisted living and memory care communities.

Now living in Washington, DC — but forever a Midwesterner at heart — Suhanee enjoys taking Pilates classes, baking chocolate chip cookies with friends, and watching Lifetime movies (yes, she’s fully aware the endings are predictable).
